AD744KNZ

AD744KNZ is a fast-settling, precision, FET input, monolithic operational amplifier. It offers the excellent DC characteristics of the AD711 BiFET family with enhanced settling, slew rate, and bandwidth. It also offers the option of using custom compensation to achieve exceptional capacitive load drive capability. It is internally compensated for stable operation as a unity gain inverter or as a noninverting amplifier with a gain of two or greater. External compensation may be applied to the device for stable operation as a unity gain follower. External compensation also allows the device to drive 1000pF capacitive loads, slewing at 10V/µs with full stability. It is used in applications such as output buffers for 12bit, 14-bit, and 16-bit DACs, ADC buffers, cable drivers, wideband, preamplifiers, and active filters.

• Initial offset voltage is 0.25mV typical at (+25°C and 15VDC)
• Small signal gain bandwidth is 13MHz typical at (G = -1, +25C and 15Vdc)
• Slew rate is 75V/µs typical at (G = -1, +25C and 15Vdc)
• Settling time to 0.01% is 0.5µs typical at (G = -1, +25C and 15Vdc)
• Total harmonic distortion is 0.0003% typical at (f = 1KHz, R1 ≥ 2Kohm, VO = 3V rms)
• Input voltage noise is 2µV p-p typical at (0.1 to 10Hz, +25C and 15Vdc)
• Operating voltage range from ±4.5V to ±18V, supply current is 3.5mA typical
• Capacitive load is 1000pF maximum at (G = -1, +25C and 15Vdc)
• Open loop gain is 400V/mV typical at (VO = ±10V, RLOAD ≥ 2Kohm)
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, 8-lead PDIP package
