The TPS63060EVM-619 evaluation module is designed to help the user easily evaluate and test the operation and functionality of the TPS63060. The TPS63060 is a highly efficient, single inductor, internally compensated, buck boost converter in a 10pin, 3mm × 3mm SON package. Both fixed and adjustable output voltage units are available. The evaluation module uses the TPS63060 adjustable output voltage version of the integrated circuit IC and is set to a 5V output. The fixed output version can be evaluated on this EVM with minor modification.
- Input voltage range from 2.5V to 12V
- Typical device quiescent current less than 60µA
- Up to 93 percent efficiency
- 2A/1A output current at 5V in step down mode
- 1.3A output current at 5V in boost mode (VIN>4V)
- Automatic transition between step down and boost mode
- Fixed and adjustable output voltage options from 2.5V to 8V
- Power save mode for improved efficiency at low output power
- Forced fixed frequency operation at low output power
- Load disconnect during shutdown
