The Microchip EV12F11A PIC32 WFI32E Curiosity Board is a powerful evaluation kit for rapid IoT prototyping and cloud-connected applications. Built around the WFI32E01PC WiFi MCU module, featuring the PIC32MZW1, this development platform combines a high-performance 200 MHz MCU with industry leading WiFi connectivity, making it ideal for embedded developers exploring smart IoT solutions, including voice enabled applications.

The board integrates 1MB embedded flash and 256KB SRAM, supporting complex firmware development with RTOS, TCP/IP stacks, and cloud protocols for platforms like AWS and Azure. Its extensive peripheral set and connectivity headers enable expansion through Microchip XPRO boards or MIKROE mikroBUS™ Click add-ons, offering flexible prototyping for sensors, actuators, and other IoT devices.

Equipped with the onboard PICkit On-board (PKOB) debugger based on a PIC24FJ256GB106 MCU, the kit also supports external debuggers such as MPLAB REAL ICE and MPLAB ICD 3, providing a complete development and debugging ecosystem.
