Product Overview
RD-UAMP-SENSOR is a Sub-µA current sensor. It is a Kinetis K22F-based current measurement board running on FreeRTOS, for use with the Freedom development ecosystem or any other Arduino-like development boards. This reference design allows for nonintrusive interfacing between any MCU and 3.3V shield, and measurement of a large range of low currents (~60nA – 5mA). Multiple communication methods are available, including integration with Freedom Sensor Toolbox (CE).
- Kinetis K22-120MHz, cost effective, full-speed USB MCUs based on Arm® Cortex®-M4 Core
- MC34673 1.2A single-cell li-ion / li-polymer battery charger
- Plugs in-between any existing 3.3V MCU + shield solution without requiring any firmware changes
- Compatible uses the widely popular Arduino connector layout and pinout
- Embeds capacitive touch buttons and an LCD module to provide quick and easy access to a control menu
- High speed optimized processing pipeline enables acquisition at 88kSa/s
- I²C sensor emulation can be accessed through a standard I²C interface and virtual register map
- Embeds a header for connecting an off-the-shelf UART-to-Bluetooth module
- Enables creation of optimized communication channels using USB stack or through virtual serial port
