Product Overview
ADA4805-2 is a high speed voltage feedback, rail-to-rail output amplifier with an exceptionally low quiescent current of 500µA, making them ideal for low power, high resolution data conversion systems. Despite being low power, these amplifiers provide excellent overall performance. A shutdown pin allows further reduction of the quiescent supply current to 2.9µA. For power sensitive applications, the shutdown mode offers a very fast turn-on time of 3µs. This allows the user to dynamically manage the power of the amplifier by turning the amplifier off between ADC samples. It is widely used in application such high resolution, high precision analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) drivers, battery-powered instrumentation, micropower active filters, portable point of sales terminals, active RFID readers, photo multipliers, ADC reference buffers etc.
- Low input offset voltage is 125µV max, slew rate is 160V/µs typ at (G = +1, VOUT = 2V step)
- Low input offset voltage drift is 0.2µV/°C (typical)
- Quiescent current per amplifier is 500µA typ at (VS = 5V at TA = 25°C; RF = 0 ohm for G = +1)
- Fully specified at VS = 3V, 5V, ±5V, low input bias current is 470nA typ
- Input common-mode range is −VS − 0.1V to +VS − 1V
- −3dB bandwidth is 105MHz typ at (G = +1, VOUT = 0.02V p-p)
- Input voltage noise is 5.9nV/√Hz at 100kHz, input current noise is 0.6pA/√Hz at 100kHz
- Low distortion is −102dBc/−126dBc HD2/HD3 at 100kHz
- Operating temperature is −40°C to +125°C, settling time to 0.1% is 35ns at (G = +1, VOUT = 2V step)
- Package style is 10-lead lead frame chip scale package [LFCSP-WD]
