ADG1636BRUZ-REEL7 is a monolithic CMOS device containing two independently selectable single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) switches. An EN input is used to enable or disable the device. When disabled, all channels are switched off. Each switch conducts equally well in both directions when on and has an input signal range that extends to the supplies. In the off condition, signal levels upto the supplies are blocked. Both switches exhibit break-before-make switching action for use in multiplexer applications. The ultralow-resistance of these switches makes them ideal solutions for data acquisition and gain switching applications where low on resistance and distortion are critical. It is used in applications such as communication systems, medical systems, audio signal routing, video signal routing, automatic test equipment, data acquisition systems, battery-powered systems, sample-and-hold systems, and relay replacements.

• Single supply operation range from 3.3V to 16V, dual supply operation range from ±3.3V to ±8V
• No VL supply required, 3V logic-compatible inputs, rail-to-rail operation
• On resistance is 1ohm typical at (VS = ±4.5V, IS = -10mA, 25°C)
• On resistance flatness is 0.2 ohm typical at (VS = ±4.5V, IS = -10mA, 25°C)
• tON (EN) is 119ns typical at (RL = 300 ohm, CL = 35pF, 25°C)
• tOFF (EN) is 182ns typical at (RL = 300 ohm, CL = 35pF, 25°C)
• Off isolation is 70dB typical at (RL = 50 ohm, CL = 5pF, f = 1MHz, 25°C)
• Total harmonic distortion + noise is 0.007% typ at (RL = 110 ohm, 5V p-p, f = 20Hz to 20kHz)
• 25MHz typical -3dB bandwidth at (RL = 50 ohm, CL = 5pF, 25°C)
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 16-lead TSSOP package
