Product Overview
EVAL-ADAU1978Z is an evaluation board for ADAU1978 quad analogue-to-digital converter. The evaluation board can output up to four channels of digital output. The evaluation board requires a power supply of +5V for the ADAU1978. The evaluation board is designed as a 4-layer printed circuit board (PCB). The top and bottom layers are for signals, whereas Layer 2 and Layer 3 are used as ground and a power plane, respectively. The PCB layout is important to achieve good audio performance. The following sections offer useful guidelines for the operation of the board.
- Total harmonic distortion (THD) plus noise (N): -95dB at -1dBFS
- Signal to noise ratio (SNR): 109dB, A weighting filter
