Product Overview
LTC4440 is a high frequency high side N-channel MOSFET gate driver that is designed to operate in applications with VIN voltages upto 80V. This device features supply independent TTL/CMOS compatible input thresholds with 350mV of hysteresis. The input logic signal is internally level-shifted to the bootstrapped supply, which may function at upto 115V above ground. This device contains both high side and low side undervoltage lockout circuits that disable the external MOSFET when activated. It is widely used in application such as telecommunications power systems, distributed power architectures, server power supplies, high density power modules etc.
- Rugged architecture tolerant of 100V VIN transients
- Output pull-down resistance is 1.5 ohm
- Peak pull-up current is 2.4A typ
- Output fall time is 7ns at (10% – 90%, CL = 1nF)
- Output rise time is 10ns typ at (10% – 90%, CL = 1nF)
- Drives standard threshold MOSFETs
- Input thresholds are independent of supply
- Undervoltage lockout
- Operating temperature is -40°C to 85°C
- Packaging style is 6-lead plastic SOT-23
