Product Overview
The MAX4556ESE+ is a force sense switch in 16 pin NSOIC package. This is a CMOS analogue IC configured as force sense switch for Kelvin sensing in automated test equipment (ATE). It contains high current, low resistance switches for forcing current and higher resistance switches for sensing a voltage or switching guard signals. The MAX4556 contains three independent single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) switches of which one is a force switch and two are sense switches. Typical applications include automated test equipment (ATE), calibrators, precision power supplies, automatic calibration circuits and asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) with loopback.
- Supply voltage of 9V to 40V, ±4.5V to ±20V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- 6ohm force signal paths (±15V supplies), 1ohm force signal matching (±15V supplies)
- 60 ohm sense guard signal paths (±15V supplies), 8ohm sense guard signal matching (±15V supplies)
