Product Overview
The ACPL-217-500E from Avago is a surface mount DC input single channel half pitch phototransistor optocoupler in 4 pin SO package. Optocoupler contains a light emitting diode optically coupled to a phototransistor. This optocoupler is widely used at I/O interface for programmable controllers, computers, sequence controllers, system appliances, measuring instruments and signal transmission between circuits of different potentials and impedances.
- Current transfer ratio CTR of 50% (min) at IF = ±5mA, VCC = 5V
- High input-output isolation voltage of VISO = 3000Vrms
- Non saturated response time (tr) is 2µs(typ) at VCC = 10V, IC = 2mA and RL= 100 ohm
- CMR of 10KV/μs (typical)
- CSA, UL and IEC/EN/DIN EN 60747-5-2 approved
- Forward current If of 50mA
- Isolation voltage of 3KV
