Product Overview
FCR684208R is an ORJ-8 receiver jack. The light receiving unit is a standard-package product with a connector and opto-electric component packaged with PD and I/V amplifier IC. The function of the unit changes the light signal into an electric signal. The unit is operated at +3 to +5V and the input signal is TTL compatible. It has a maximum operating speed of 16Mbps. The application includes audio equipment, digital optical data link, MD, and sound card.

- Operating voltage range from 2.7 to 5.5V, peak detective wavelength is 650nm typ
- Transfer speed range from 0.1 to 16Mbps (NRZ signal)
- Receiving distance range from 0.2 to 20m (using APF)
- Pulse width distortion range from -20 to 20ns (16Mbps NRZ signal)
- Input Light power range from -24 to -14.5dBm, dissipation current is 6mA typ
- Rise time and fall time is 25ns min, jitter time is 1.5ns typ
- Low high propagation delay time is 100ns max, high low propagation delay time is 100ns max
