L4-SS-D

L4-SS-D is a series L4 Flotect® float switch. It is a rugged and reliable float switch which operates automatically to indicate tank level. Avoids clogs using a free-swinging float that attracts a magnet within the solid metal switch body, actuating a snap switch by means of a simple lever arm. It is used in direct pump control for maintaining level, automatic tank dump operations, level control, valve control, level alarm in sumps, scrubber systems, hydro-pneumatic tanks, boilers, and water/wastewater treatment processes applications.

• 316 SS body, sidewall mounting
• Features DPDT contacts and NPT connection
• Superior performance due to unique magnetically-actuated switching design
• Long product life with no bellows, springs, or seals to fail
• Prevents vertical hang up with float arm hinge design that limits the arm angle
• Horizontal installation standard, optional vertical top mount
• Process temperature -4 to 163°F (-20 to 73°C)
• Pressure limit for 316 SS body is 2000psig (138bar)
