Product Overview
FRDM-KL25Z is an ultra-low-cost development platform for Kinetis® L Series KL1x (KL14/15) and KL2x (KL24/25) MCUs based on the Arm® Cortex®-M0+ core. It features easy access to MCU I/O, low-power and battery-ready operation, and a standard form factor with expansion board support. A built-in debug interface enables flash programming and run control. The board is supported by various NXP® and third-party development tools, including Processor Expert® components for rapid embedded development. Developers can access mbed.org for free, with full use of its online SDK, tools, and code library—no downloads, installation, or licenses required. The FRDM-KL25Z also supports the Zephyr OS, enabling free, open-source development for IoT applications.
