EVAL6ED2231S12TM1TOBO1 is an evaluation board for 1200V 3-phase SOI gate driver and 1200V EasyPACK™ SiC modules. This power evaluation board features and demonstrates our CoolSiC™ MOSFET module and SOI gate driver technology for motor drives. It is powered by 6ED2231S12T 1200V, 3-phase gate driver. It includes one EasyPACK™ 1B CoolSiC™ MOSFET 1200V module, one 3-phase silicon-on-insulator (SOI) gate driver IC for motor drive applications, and includes the M1 connector. In combination with either the EVAL-M1-101T which is control board for iMOTION™ Modular Application Design Kit (MADK) or other control boards with compatible M1 connectors. The package also contains a quasi-resonant, PWM controller; a CoolSiC™ MOSFET based auxiliary power supply to provide 18V and 3.3V a single shunt for current sensing and overcurrent protection and a voltage divider for DC-link voltage measurement. The board can be operated directly with the required DC power supply without any additional components.
