Product Overview
REFXDPS2201170WBPA2TOBO1 is a 170W AC-DC reference design for e-bike battery charger. This is a highly efficient 170W single-stage hybrid-flyback reference design aimed for 24V and 36V Li-Ion battery packs typically found in chargers for e-bikes or power tools. The design incorporates a digital controller, XDP™ XDPS2201, with multi-mode operation and two 600 V CoolMOS™ P7 superjunction MOSFETs (IPA60R280P7S) that combine excellent efficiency and ease of use.
- Hybrid flyback (asymmetric half-bridge) topology
- Wide O/P voltage range (input: VIN = 198 to 264VAC, 50 to 60Hz, standby <lt/> 250mW at 230V at no load)
- 18 to 42V Vout, 0.4 to 4A Iout, POUT = 170W and VAUX= 5V/500mA
- High efficiency is <gt/>95% at 230VAC, full load
- No PFC, low system cost
- Simple transformer design compared to resonant converter
