Product Overview
The MAX698CPA+ is a low cost, power-on reset in 8 pin DIP package. The device monitors +5V supply in microprocessor (μP) and digital systems. It supplies a RESET (complementary) pulse of at least 140ms duration on power-up, power-down and during low voltage brownout conditions. Circuit reliability is increased at reduced cost by eliminating all external components and adjustments. Typical applications include intelligent instruments, controllers, computers and critical & µP power monitoring.
