Product Overview
The DSPIC33EV256GM002-I/SS is a dsPIC33EV family, 16bit, 5V enhanced voltage digital signal controller (DSC) in 28 pin SSOP package. The device with code efficient (C and assembly) architecture features 70MIPS dsPIC DSC core with enhanced on-chip features and is ideal for operating in harsh environments. It comes with rich peripheral integration which includes SENT, high speed PWMs, op-amps, advanced analogue features and error correcting code flash for increased reliability and safety. The device enables the design of high performance, precision motor control systems that are more energy efficient. It can be used to control BLDC, permanent magnet synchronous, AC induction and stepper motors. The dsPIC33EV device is ideal for high performance general purpose applications. Qualified by AEC-Q100 REVG (grade 1: -40°C to +125°C) completed and AEC-Q100 REVG (grade 0: -40°C to +150°C) planned and class B safety library, IEC 60730 standards.

- Twenty one GPIO, three external interrupts, class B fault handling support
- Low power management modes (sleep, idle and doze) and fail-safe clock monitor (FSCM)
- 0.5mA/MHz dynamic current (typical) and 50μA IPD current (typical) at +25°C
- Independent watchdog timer (WDT), integrated power-on reset (POR) and brown-out reset (BOR)
- 4-channel DMA with user selectable priority arbitration
