Product Overview
MCP3564RT-E/ST is a 24bit, delta-sigma analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) with programmable data rate of upto 153.6ksps. It offers integrated features, such as internal voltage reference, internal oscillator, temperature sensor and burnout sensor detection, in order to reduce system component count and total solution cost. This device includes an internal sequencer (SCAN mode) with multiple monitor channels and a 24bit timer to be able to automatically create conversion loop sequences without needing MCU communications. Advanced security features, such as CRC and register map lock, can ensure configuration locking and integrity, as well as communication data integrity for secure environments. It is used in applications such as precision sensor transducers and transmitters: pressure, strain, flow and force measurement, factory automation and process controls, portable instrumentation, temperature measurements.

- Programmable gain is 0.33x to 64x, differential voltage reference inputs
- Gain error temperature coefficient is 0.5ppm/°C typical at (AVDD = 2.7V to 3.6V)
- Burnout current sources for sensor open/short detection
- Internal temperature sensor, internal conversions sequencer (SCAN mode) for automatic multiplexing
- Dedicated IRQ pin for easy synchronization, internal 2.4V Vref
- AVDD is 2.7V to 3.6V, DVDD is 1.8V to 3.6V
- total harmonic distortion is -116dB typical at (AVDD = 2.7V to 3.6V)
- Extended temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
