Product Overview
The PESD2CAN from NXP is a CAN bus ESD protection diode in 3pin SOT-23 package. This device is designed to protect two automotive CAN (Controller Area Network) bus lines from damage caused by ESD and other transients. The PESD2CAN can be used for both high speed CAN bus and fault tolerant CAN bus protection.
- Automotive grade AEC-Q101 qualified
- Maximum peak pulse power (Ppp) of 230W at tp=8/20μs
- Low clamping voltage (VCL) of 41V at Ipp=5A
- Ultra low leakage current (IRM) of less than 1nA
- ESD protection up to 30KV according to IEC 61000-4-2 level 4 (ESD
- Rated peak pulse current (Ippm) of 5A according to IEC 61000-4-5 (surge) at tp=8/20μs
- Reverse standoff voltage (Vrwm) of 24V
- Diode capacitance (Cd) of 25pF at f=1MHz and VR=0V
- Ambient temperature range from -55°C to 150°C
