Product Overview
FUSB3307 is a highly integrated USB Power Delivery (PD) power source controller that can control a DC−DC port power regulator or opto coupler in the secondary side of an AC to DC adapter. It implement source finite state machines of USB Power Delivery 3.0 (PD 3.0) and Type-C™ which includes programmable power supplies. In order to meet PPS specification, FUSB3307 supports minimum 3.3V and maximum 21V output voltage control. It includes constant voltage and constant current limit control blocks. The references are supported from internal D/A converters. FUSB3307 supports various protections such as undervoltage protection, overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, CC1 and CC2 overvoltage protection (CC_OVP), VCONN overcurrent protection (VCONN_OCP) and internal and external overtemperature protection (I_OTP, E_OTP). Applications include wall chargers for tablet PC’s and laptop batteries, AC−DC PD 3.0 compliant adapters and DC to DC car chargers for individual port power control.
