Product Overview
74VHC125FT(BJ) is a CMOS digital silicon monolithic IC. It is a high speed CMOS quad bus buffer (non-inverted 3-state outputs) fabricated with silicon gate C²MOS technology. It achieves the high speed operation similar to equivalent bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining the CMOS low power dissipation. It requires the 3-state control input active-low G to be set high to place the output into the high impedance state. An input protection circuit ensures that 0 to 5.5V can be applied to the input pins without regard to the supply voltage. This device can be used to interface 5V to 3V systems and two supply systems such as battery back-up. This circuit prevents device destruction due to mismatched supply and input voltages. It is pin and function compatible with 74 series (AC/HC/AHC/LV etc.) 125 or 126 type.

- High noise immunity: VNIH = VNIL = 28% VCC (min)
- Low power dissipation ICC is 4.0µA (max) at Ta = 25°C

- Input leakage current is ±0.1µA max at (VIN = 5.5V or GND, 0 to 5.5V, Ta = 25°C)
- Quiescent supply current is 4µA max at (VIN = VCC or GND, 5.5V, Ta = 25°C)
- Propagation delay time is 3.8ns typ at (5.0 ±0.5V, CL=15pF, Ta = 25°C, input: tr = tf = 3ns)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
