Product Overview
820572711 is a WE-VD disk varistor. After a surge impulse the varistor works immediately in normal mode so there is no slip current. It is typically used for 12-48VDC distribution, 110 to 400V power supply, leakage of voltage peaks, surge protection in accordance with EN 61000-4-5. It is approved by cURus (UL1449 4. 4th edition) and VDE certified, UL1449 (cURus) File E332875, VDE: File 40016986 and 40016998, IEC: 60950-1: 2013 Annex Q starting from Ø 10 mm.
- Low clamping voltage, excellent absorption at surge impulses
- Operating voltage is 275VAC/350VDC
- Clamping voltage is 710V max (10A at 8/20µs), power dissipation is 0.25W max
- Measured limiting voltage is 970V max, (channel) input capacitance is 105pF typ (1kHz)
- DIN ISO 2768-1m tolerance
- Operating temperature range from -40 up to +85°C
- 33J max energy absorption (10/1000µs)
- 0.5KA nominal discharge current
