ADM00826

The ADM00826 from Microchip is an MIC24045 evaluation kit. The MIC24045 evaluation board simplifies the evaluation of compact 19V, 5A synchronous step-down regulator with I2C communication bus. This EV kit enables testing of all MIC24045 functions such output voltage programming via I2C bus as well programming voltage scaling, soft start, current limit and switching frequency and start-up delay. The MIC24045 is a I2C programmable, high efficiency, wide input range, 5A synchronous step-down regulator. Additionally, an on-board load transient generator circuit and connections for loop gain measurements are provided. A micro-USB connector is available on the board and is used to connect to the I2C monitor which allows the user to control the output voltage, switching frequency, current limit and soft start of the MIC24045.

• VIN supply ranges from 4.5V to 19V
• Output voltage from 0.64V to 5.25V in 5mV, 10mV, 30mV and 50mV steps at 5A
