High performance single chip Security Transponder and RISC Controller (STARC) ideally suited for automotive applications with combined vehicle immobilization and Keyless Entry functions (Combi Key). The Transponder operation meets the security and performance requirements for state of the art car immobilizer applications. Excellent device sensitivity and short authentication time ensure outstanding system performance.

- 512Byte EEPROM for extended data storage
- 32bit unique device and product type identification
- Functional compatible with transponder family PCF7936/37
- EEPROM read/write protection capability
- HT2 with 48bit secret key and HT2-enhanced with 96bit secret key
- 8bit RISC architecture (MRK II) and 4Kbyte E-ROM respectively ROM
- 11 general purpose I/O, two 8bit timer/counter, watchdog and on-chip RC oscillator
- Low power consumption, 2.1V to 3.6V single lithium cell operation
- Programmable low battery detection
