The MIL-C-5015 series (VG95234) front panel mounting Square Flange Receptacle with copper alloy contacts and a polychloroprene insulator. The ABBMS bayonet connector series is based on the MS series of connectors which conform to American Mil-C-5015 specification. The ABBMS bayonet connector is interchangeable with all corresponding MS types and feature identical panel mounting dimensions and contact arrangements. Positive coupling is indicated by an audible snap and visually by the alignment of three coloured spots on the receptacle shell and the coupling nut of the free plug connector. Protection against dust and water ingress is achieved by using a dynamic sealing under the coupling nut and by using an individual wire seal grommet in the connector back shell assembly. A wavy washer assembly, also situated in the coupling nut and a comprehensive range of back shells and accessories, ensure excellent shell-to-shell continuity and shielding characteristics between mated connectors.
