The SL1002A series Broadband Optimized™ Gas Discharge Tube has been especially developed for use in broadband equipment. The special design features to provide high levels of protection against fast rising transients in the 100V/μs to 1kV/μs range usually caused by lightning disturbances. This device has ultra low capacitance (typically 1.2pF or less) and present insignificant signal losses up to 1.5GHz. For AC power cross of long duration, over-current protection is recommended.
