S32K396BMS-EVB is a S32K376 Battery Management System (BMS) and Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) proof of concept design is a demonstration of an integrated, one box Electronic Control Unit (ECU) solution. The BMS system monitors battery voltage, temperature, fault status, among others and the VCU system samples simulated pedal position, gear, sensors, among others. Software is developed based on NXP's Real-Time Drivers (RTD). This PoC is intended to provide a mechanism for easy customer evaluation of the S32K37 electrification MCU and to facilitate BMS and VCU hardware and software development. Additionally, Over-the-air (OTA) and bootloader functions are also integrated into the software package, enabling in-field program updates. The FS26 Automotive Safety Basis Chip (SBC) is used for power management and monitoring.

- FS26 power SBC, with +5.0V, +3.3V and +1.5V
- Supports multiple input/output interfaces: MSDI, ADC, GPIO, LSD and HSD
- MC33665 as communication gateway & TPL transceiver to support daisy chain of BCC device MC33774 com
- 4 x high-side and 11x low-side switch with XS2410
- 10-ch switch to ground input and 4-ch switch to programmable input MSDI interfaces
- LPUART, 3x CAN interface with TJA144x, LIN interface with TJA1022, 100BASE-T1 interface with TJA1101
- 2-ch PWM capture interface
- FS2633 (ASIL-D) system basis chip (SBC) for the board power supply and safety features
- PCA2131TF automotive tiny RTC/calendar with alarm function
