The 8-215079-4 is a 14-way 2-row Micro-Match miniature Female-on-board Connector with vertical PCB mounting orientation, phosphor bronze contact, red polyester GF housing and top entry. This connector version incorporates the patented Micro-Match contact spring system and is designed to be soldered onto PC boards with a nominal thickness of 1.6mm. The solder legs are indented, providing firm retention of the connector before and during the soldering operations. As polarization is accomplished directly between the Micro-Match male connectors and the PC board, this top entry female connector does not have any polarizing features. Therefore, the orientation of the connector on the PC board is irrelevant.
