The LR02-IS series Float Switch is an efficient Liquid Level Detector designed for trouble free operation over a long life. The device is a variant of the LR-02 series, contains a special low voltage/low current micro-switch that is compatible with the voltage and current requirements of intrinsically safe systems. The unit comprises three major components with the float chamber houses the micro-switch arrangement and totally sealed within closed cell polyurethane foam with a single pole double throw action and outer walls of the switch are moulded in Hypalon, CSP Synthetic rubber. The 3-cored cable, connected to the micro-switch assembly inside the float chamber and is sheathed in CPE synthetic rubber and this cable is supplied in three standard lengths of 5, 10 and 20m±5% of the length quoted. A stabilizing weight fixed to the cable approximately 120mm from the float chamber is also coated in Hypalon.
