SFH 2716 is a chip LED with silicon PIN photodiode and Vλ characteristics. Application includes industrial automation (machine controls, light barriers, vision controls).

• Clear epoxy package, 2KV acc. to ANSI/ESDA/JEDEC JS-001 (HBM, Class 2) ESD
• Very small SMT package, colourless clear resin, 2mm x 1.25mm x 0.8mm
• Adapted to human eye sensitivity (Vλ)
• 0.57µA typical photocurrent (Ev = 1000 lx, white LED, VR = 5V IP)
• 16V maximum reverse voltage (TA = 25°C), 620nm typical wavelength of max sensitivity (TA = 25°C)
• 350 to 1000nm spectral range of sensitivity range (typ, TA = 25°C)
• 0.35mm² typical radiant sensitive area (TA = 25°C), 60° half angle (typ, TA = 25°C)
• 0.01nA typ dark current (VR = 5V), 28pF typical capacitance (VR = 0V, f = 1MHz, E = 0, TA = 25°C)
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to 100°C
