AD7858BRZ

AD7858BRZ is a high-speed, low-power, 12bit ADC. The ADC powers up with a set of default conditions at which time it can be operated as a read-only ADC. The ADC contains self-calibration and system calibration options to ensure accurate operation over time and temperature and has a number of power-down options for low-power applications. The part powers up with a set of default conditions and can operate as a read-only ADC. It is capable of a 200KHz throughput rate. The input track-and-hold acquires a signal in 500ns and features a pseudo-differential sampling scheme. The AD7858 voltage range is 0 to VREF with straight binary output coding. The input signal range is to the supply and the part is capable of converting full-power signals to 100KHz. Applications include battery-powered systems (personal digital assistants, medical instruments, mobile communications), pen computers, instrumentation and control systems, high-speed modems.

• Total unadjusted error is ±1LSB typical at (AVDD = DVDD = +3.0V to +5.5V)
• Analog input capacitance is 20pF typical at (AVDD = DVDD = +3.0V to +5.5V)
• Unipolar offset error is ±5LSB maximum at (AVDD = DVDD = +3.0V to +5.5V)
• Analog leakage current is ±1µA maximum at (AVDD = DVDD = +3.0V to +5.5V)
• Channel-to-channel isolation is -90dB typical at (VIN = 25KHz, AVDD = DVDD = +3.0V to +5.5V)
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, 24-lead small outline package
