AD8174ARZ-R7 is a very high-speed (4:1) buffered multiplexer. This multiplexer offers an internal current feedback output amplifier whose gain can be programmed via external resistors and is capable of delivering 50mA of output current. It has excellent video specifications with low differential gain and differential phase error of 0.02% and 0.05°. With a low 78dB of crosstalk and better than 88dB isolation, this device is useful in many high-speed applications. It offers a high-speed disable feature allowing the output to be put into a high-impedance state for cascading stages so that the off channels do not load the output bus. Additionally, this device can be shut down (SD) when not in use to minimize power consumption (IS = 1.5mA). It is used in applications such as pixel switching for “picture-in-picture”, LCD and plasma displays, and video routers.

- Total harmonic distortion is -60dBc typical at (ƒC = 10MHz, VO = 2V p-p, RL = 150 ohm)
- Input offset voltage is 5mV typical at (TA = +25°C, VS = ±5V, RL = 150 ohm)
- Input bias current is 7µA typical at (TA = +25°C, VS = ±5V, RL = 150 ohm)
- Operating voltage range from ±4V to ±6V, sleep mode is 50nA typical
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, 14-pin narrow SOIC package
