AD8506ARMZ-R7 is a dual, micropower amplifier featuring rail-to-rail input/output swings while operating from a single 1.8V to 5V power supply or from dual ±0V to ±2.5V power supplies. Using a new circuit technology, this amplifier offers zero input crossover distortion (excellent PSRR and CMRR performance) and low bias current while operating with a supply current of less than 20μA per amplifier. This amplifier family offers the lowest noise in its power class. This combination of features makes the amplifier an ideal choice for battery-powered applications because it minimizes errors due to power supply voltage variations over the lifetime of the battery and maintains high CMRR even for a rail-to-rail input opamp. It is used in applications such as pressure and position sensors, remote security, biosensors, IR thermometers, battery-powered consumer equipment, and hazard detectors.

- Common-mode rejection ratio is 100dB typical at (0V ≤ VCM ≤ 1.8V, TA = 25°C)
- Slew rate is 13mV/µs typical at (RL = 100Kohm, CL = 10pF, G = 1, VSY = 1.8V, VCM = VSY/2)
- Gain bandwidth product is 95KHz typical at (RL = 1Mohm, CL = 20pF, G = 1, VSY = 1.8V)
- Voltage noise is 2.8µV p-p typical at (f = 0.1Hz to 10Hz, VSY = 1.8V, VCM = VSY/2, TA = 25°C)
- Large-signal voltage gain is 115dB typical at (0.05V ≤ VOUT ≤ 1.75V, RL = 100Kohm to VCM)
- Power supply rejection ratio is 110dB typical at (VSY = 1.8V to 5V, VSY = 1.8V, VCM = VSY/2)
- Offset voltage drift is 2.5µV/°C typical at (VSY = 1.8V, VCM = VSY/2, TA = 25°C)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 8-lead MSOP package
