LT5521EUF#PBF

LT®5512 active double-balanced mixer IC optimized for high linearity HF, VHF and UHF applications. The IC includes an integrated LO buffer amplifier to drive the mixer and an RF buffer amplifier for improved LO-RF isolation. Internal bias circuits eliminate the need for precision external resistors and allow the device to be powered-down using the enable control (EN) pin. The externally matched RF and IF ports allow the mixer to be used at very low frequencies, below 1MHz or up to 3GHz. The differential LO input is designed for single-ended or a differential input drive. Application includes HF/VHF/UHF mixer, cellular/PCS/UMTS infrastructure, high linearity mixer applications, ISM band receivers, wireless medical telemetry system (WMTS).

• Maximum shutdown current is 100μA (EN=0.2V, VCC=5V, EN=2.9V, TA=25°C)
• Input frequency range from 10 to 3000MHz (VCC=5V, EN=2.9V, TA=25°C)
• Typical conversion gain is –0.5dB (VCC=5V, EN=2.9V, fIF=250MHz, PIF=–7dBm, TA=25°C)
• Typ conversion gain vs temperature is -0.009dB/°C (VCC=5V, EN=2.9V, fIF=250MHz, PIF=-7dBm, TA=25°C)
• 16-lead plastic QFN plastic, ambient operating temperature range from –40°C to 85°C
