LTC®5577 active mixer is optimized for RF down-converting applications that require high input signal handling capability and wide bandwidth. The wide band IF output uses external resistors to set the output impedance, allowing the flexibility to match directly into differential IF loads, such as filters and amplifiers. The part is characterized and specified with a 100-ohm differential output impedance, although it can be used with output impedances ranging from 50 ohm to 400 ohm, with higher gain and reduced IIP3 and P1dB at the higher impedance levels. The IF output is usable up to 1.5GHz. Application includes wireless infrastructure receivers, DPD observation receivers, CATV infrastructure.

• Input frequency range from 300 to 6000MHz (TC=25°C, external matching required)
• Output frequency range from 1 to 1500MHz (TC=25°C, external matching required)
• Input power range from –6 to 6dBm (TC=25°C, VCC=3.3V)
• Typical RF to LO isolation is <gt/>64dB (TC=25°C, VCC=3.3V)
• Typical power conversion gain is –0.5dB (TC=25°C, VCC=3.3V)
• Typical conversion gain flatness is ±0.2dB (RF=1900 ±140MHz, LO=1747MHz, IF=153 ±140MHz)
• Typical SSB noise figure is 13.4dB (RF=450MHz, high side LO)
• 16-lead plastic QFN, operating temperature range from -40°C to 105°C
