TMP35FSZ-REEL is a low voltage, precision centigrade temperature sensor. It provides a voltage output that is linearly proportional to the celsius (centigrade) temperature. The low output impedance of the TMP35 and its linear output and precise calibration simplify interfacing to temperature control circuitry and ADCs. This device is intended for single-supply operation from 2.7V to 5.5V maximum. The supply current runs well below 50µA, providing very low self-heating-less than 0.1°C in still air. In addition, a shutdown function is provided to cut the supply current to less than 0.5µA. It is used in applications such as environmental control systems, thermal protection, industrial process control, fire alarms, power system monitors, CPU thermal management.
- Stable with large capacitive loads, low self-heating
- Accuracy is ±1°C typical at (TA = 25°C)
- Load regulation is 6m°C/µA typical at (-40°C ≤ TA ≤ +105°C)
- Power supply rejection ratio is 30m°C/V typical at (TA = 25°C)
- Long-term stability is 0.4°C typical at (TA = 150°C for 1000 hours)
- 250mV typical output voltage
- Supply current is 50µA maximum at (VS = 2.7V to 5.5V, -40°C ≤ TA ≤ +125°C)
- Supply current (shutdown) is 0.5µA maximum at (VS = 2.7V to 5.5V, -40°C ≤ TA ≤ +125°C)
- Device turn-on time is 1ms maximum at (VS = 2.7V to 5.5V, -40°C ≤ TA ≤ +125°C)
- Operating temperature range from 10°C to 125°C, 8-lead SOIC-N package
