UMFT234XD-NC

The UMFT234XD-NC is a Breakout Module utilizes FTDI's FT234XDIC to convert USB to UART. The breakout module is a breakout board that converts USB 2.0 full-speed to UART. This module do not have a USB connector, instead, the modules plug directly into the USB host connector and the pads of the PCB makes electrical contact with the electrical contacts of the USB connector. The UART interface operates at +3.3V voltage levels, however all I/Os are 5V tolerant. The Breakout modules provide the simplest development hardware for the FT-X series of devices. To reduce cost the USB interconnect is simply tracking on the PCB which plugs directly into the USB host socket. The interface connector is a standard 0.1-inch pitch socket. The module is ready to use when plugged in to enable instant development work to begin.
