P3T1035CUKAZ is a temperature-to-digital converter. It uses an on-chip band gap temperature sensor and an A-to-D conversion technique with overtemperature detection. This device contains a number of data registers: Configuration (Conf) stores the device settings such as device operation mode, and temperature register (Temp) stores the digital temp reading, which communicates by a controller via the 2-wire serial I³C/I²C-bus interface. It can be configured for different operation conditions. It can be set in normal mode to monitor periodically the ambient temperature, or in shutdown mode to minimize power consumption. The temperature register always stores a 12-bit two's complement data (2bytes), giving a temperature resolution of 0.0625°C. It also allows 8-bit (MSByte) reading with temperature resolution of 1°C. It is used in applications such as portable devices, IoT, SSD, industrial controllers, servers, and PC/notebook.

- Temperature conversion time is 7.8ms typical at (VCC =1.4 to 1.98V; Tamb = -40°C to +125°C)
- Shutdown current (VCC = 1.8V) is 1.2μA maximum at (I²C-bus inactive, Tamb = 25°C)
- Input capacitance is 8pF typical at (VCC =1.4 to 1.98V; Tamb = -40°C to +125°C)
- Input current is 1µA typical at (digital pin; 0V <lt/> VIN<lt/> VCC + 0.3, Tamb = 25°C)
- Operating temperature range from 0°C to +70°C
