VN7016AJEPTR is a high-side driver with multisense analogue feedback for automotive application. This driver is designed to drive 12V automotive grounded loads through a 3V and 5V CMOS-compatible interface. It integrates advanced protective functions such as load current limitation, overload power limitation and over temperature shutdown with configurable latch-off. A dedicated multifunction multiplexes analogue output pin and delivers sophisticated diagnostic function including high precision proportional load current. The supply voltage feedback and chip temperature sense in addition to the detection gives overload and short circuit to ground, short to VCC and OFF-state open-load. A sense enable pin allows OFF-state diagnosis to be disabled during the module. This driver is widely used in application such as automotive resistive, inductive and capacitive loads and specially intended for automotive headlamps.
