AD7995ARJZ-0RL is a 10bit, low-power, successive approximation ADC with an I2C®-compatible interface. The device operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V power supply and features a 1µs conversion time. The track-and-hold amplifier allows each part to handle input frequencies of up to 14MHz, and a multiplexer allows taking samples from four channels. It provides a 2-wire serial interface compatible with I²C interfaces. The AD7995 normally remain in a shutdown state, powering up only for conversions. The conversion process is controlled by a command mode, during which each I²C read operation initiates a conversion and returns the result over the I²C bus.
- Specified for VDD of 2.7V to 5.5V, sequencer operation
- I²C-compatible serial interface supports standard, fast, and high speed modes
- Signal-to-noise and distortion (SINAD) is 61.5dB typ at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, VREF = 2.5V)
- Total harmonic distortion is -85dB typ at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, VREF = 2.5V, fSCL = 3.4MHz)
- Full-power bandwidth is 14MHz typical at (3dB, VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V)
- Integral nonlinearity is ±0.4LSB maximum at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, VREF = 2.5V, fSCL = 3.4MHz)
- Differential nonlinearity is ±0.4LSB typ at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, VREF = 2.5V, fSCL = 3.4MHz)
- Gain temperature drift is 0.50ppm/°C typ at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, VREF = 2.5V, fSCL = 3.4MHz)
- Analog input capacitance is 34pF typ at (channel 0 to channel 2—during acquisition phase)
- Industrial temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 8-lead SOT-23 package
